"Quel che resta" Mobbing, shocking and other pleasentnesses, by and with Monica Faggiani

Circolo Culturale e Ricreativo Eugenio Curiel invite you to discover "Quel che resta" Mobbing, shocking and other pleasentnesses,  the lastest work by and with Monica Faggiani

The idea comes from a reflection on mobbing that the author / interpreter of the project has been carrying out for several years.

Statistical data tell us that this phenomenon is increasing and often the "victims" are not even aware of it.

This is a story of "ordinary madness" as there are so many ... but often people find themselves overwhelmed by the habit and have difficulties of talking about it. We must tell them instead and we must fight them!

The story related to a mobbing case is inserted into broader panorama  of relationships, in which "power dynamics" are played. Why do we get into these dynamics? Is it possible to get out of it?

With lucid disenchantment and powerful irony the protagonist will try to answer these questions by letting us participate in her story, telling us how she came out and above all witnessing how this possibility is always there for everyone.

Lyric moments will alternate with crude information on the modalities and consequences of mobbing and with comedy as well, moments in which the protagonist will have fun teasing herself, the illusions and the fragility of our time. And the narration thus opens up to themes such as love, hopes for the future and the ability to take back one's destiny.

The story of Candy Candy and the myth of Persephone accompany the whole story transversally, presenting the journey that the protagonist lives from the world of childhood with its fairy tales to adulthood, the age of awareness and the possibility of choosing.

This is a history in which many of us will identify and which will offer the possibility to reflect on how to change aspects of us and of our life, that we too often consider impossible to change.
