Anna is fleeing from pain and a man obsessed with his youth. Basim is on the way to the future and a promised land. Anna, a refugee in her homeland, and Basim, a refugee from the Ivory Coast, end up meeting in an arid and wild land, somewhere between the sea and the mountains of Sardinia. Anna lost her voice, Basim innocence but everyone seems to understand the feelings of the other. Souls alone, in dialectic relationship, decide to advance together between salt mines and ruin spaces but the past pursues them incarnated by Manfredi, a migrant trafficker who wants to sever their fate.
