Circolo Culturale e Ricreativo Eugenio Curiel and Passaparola invite you to discover the book: "Many Italians do ... in Luxembourg, Journey into the memory (and a bit of history) of our emigration" by the writer and journalist Remo Ceccarelli.

The author will be present.

An interesting journey through places, biographies, memories and myths that have populated and continue fueling the imagination of the Italian community in Luxembourg, a community who has marked, during a century, the history of this countduring over a decade in Passaparola, by a son of Italian immigration. A captivating and colorful narrative, dedicated to the Italians of yesterday and today, a message that makes us understand how successful integration does not necessarily entail the oblivion or denial of the multiple affinities that bind its protagonists.

Remo Ceccarelli, born in Esch-sur-Alzette in 1967, grew up under the shadow of Luxembourg steel giant, in the microcosm of Hoehl, the most Italian neighborhood of the ville rouge. Attracted since childhood by history and curious about everything around him, Remo researches, questions and tells the story of three generations that preceded him and their sacrifices, in the tormented frame of European history of the twentieth century.
